What is tap?

Tap is one of the most traditional forms of dance using special shoes to create different rhythms, sounds and patterns. Tap is great for developing musicality and coordination skills. Key benefits of tap are enhanced rhythm and coordination, pattern recognition, memorization skills, and problem/puzzle solving skills.

All of our preschool-12th grade classes will incorporate tap into their weekly class curriculum. All classes will perform a tap routine at our spring recital and select classes will also perform a tap routine at our winter recital.
